Bio BallsBio Balls - Good surface area. Super lightweight-great for those who don't want to lift out heavier media for cleaning. Will never deteriorate. Fish safe. Enables handling of large biological loads with smaller filter area.

One gallon = approximately 225 bio-balls = surface area of approximately 21.5 sq.ft. Use approximately 1 gal. per 500 gallons.

Ultra-Bio Media

Ultra Bio-Media is a sinking media with a very high bio-film surface that is 3 to 5 times greater than other plastic media, such as bio-balls, various mats and foams, beads, ribbon and brush type media, etc.
Superior bacterial adhesion and colonization is achieved due to the surface texture and grade of plastic used.

Additionally, beneficial bacteria is able to build up into a bacterial matrix due to the excellent interstitial spacing within the media.

Laguna Filter Bag

Laguna Filter BagLaguna Filter Media Bags are perfectly sized to fit most pond filters. Placing the filter media in the bag provides an easy and convenient way of installing media inside the filter chamber.

When the media is completely exhausted, you can easily remove and replace it with a new bag. The mesh material can hold most loose filter media, such as Laguna Pond Peat and Barley Straw, and allows water to pass through it thoroughly. It comes complete with a fastening seal.
